A few weeks ago, I mentioned that parents can be a great audience for council sustainability practitioners to engage with, but you need to understand what parents want and how that varies over different stages of their children’s lives.

This week, I speak to Nic Seton, CEO at Parents for Climate Action about how and why parents get involved in climate action.

Libraries and sustainability teams can often have an uneasy coexistence in councils.
 

Sustainability loves the outreach libraries can provide to the community but can also be alarmed when libraries run their own sustainability programs without consultation.

Maybe the solution is to centre sustainability outreach in libraries.
