Our TeamDavid Meiklejohn is a sustainability and local government professional with more than 25 year’s experience. His work has included the development and delivery of behaviour change projects for governments, private companies and non-government organisations in Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
Recently, he was the Executive Officer of the Northern Alliance for Greenhouse Action, managing a network of nine northern metropolitan Melbourne councils responding to climate change, as well as the Coordinator of Climate Emergency Australia. David has also completed a Ph.D. researching how Australian local governments engage their communities to respond to climate change.
Manon Olaya is a sustainability professional with a focus on project management to achieve results. Manon recently worked as a Program Coordinator for Responsible Cafes and contributed to the design and implementation of the council program to promote waste-reduction practices through local governments to food businesses across Australia.
Manon led six engagement campaigns with New South Wales and Victorian local governments to accredit targeted cafes with the campaign’s eco responsible certification, as well as coordinate waste audits and data collection to report on sustainability performance. Manon has also worked to foster innovation in French energy utilities.
Megan Chatterton is a sustainability professional with over 20 years' experience working for State and local government in the design, delivery and evaluation of climate adaption, resource efficiency and community building programs.
Megan recently led a first-of-its-type project funded by the City of Sydney to investigate the readiness of Australia's fast growing apartment sector to respond and recover from climate and non-climate related emergencies and disasters. This included developing pilot-ready guidelines and resources to support the uptake of resident-driven Crisis Response Plans.
